Frequently Asked Questions regarding our wildlife photography workshops
-
                            1. Who are these workshops for?Professionals and passionate learners who want structured practice, clear feedback, and a small-group field experience. Beginners are welcome; we’ll try to match guidance to your level so you progress fast without feeling lost.
 -
                            2. How are these different from regular safaris or tours?A safari is sightseeing. A workshop is more of knowledge sharing and helping you learn. We plan for light, species and behaviour, keep groups small, teach in the field, and do daily image reviews so you return with skills and keepers—not just memories.
 -
                            3. What’s the group size?Typically 4–8 participants (varies by park and dates, please check workshop detail pages for exact details or reach out to us). Small groups keep the pace focused and ensure everyone gets time for questions and field guidance.
 -
                            4. What skill level do I need?Any level. If you can operate your camera in Aperture/Manual and move AF points, that’s great. If not, we’ll cover the basics on one of the days (please let us know if you need such discussions) and get you comfortable quickly.
 -
                            5. Are mirrorless/DSLR/bridge cameras okay?Yes. Mirrorless and DSLR are ideal; high-end bridge cameras can work if they focus fast and shoot RAW. We’ll help with AF setup and exposure regardless of system. Please let us know your gears in advance so that we can plan.
 -
                            6. What exactly is included?On-ground mentoring during shoots, daily reviews/edits, checklists, and shot-planning. Park fees, accommodation, meals, and transfers vary by location/date. Please see each workshop page for the exact inclusion list.
 -
                            7. What’s not included?Usually personal travel to the meeting point, insurance, and gear rentals. Visa costs (if applicable) are not included. We’ll list exclusions clearly on each workshop page. Anything which is not mentioned specifically, consider them as exclusion or confirm with us.
 -
                            8. How do bookings and seats work?Workshops are fixed-date offering with a seat limit. -
                            12. Is this physically demanding? Most sessions involve early starts, walking short distances, and climbing in/out of vehicles.
