This site is run by Abhisek Bagaria. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not to hide behind legal language.
What I collect
- When you fill in a form (enquiry, contact, or a booking): the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, and your message. These are stored securely so I can reply and arrange what you asked about.
- When you create an account or book: your email and the records of your bookings and orders, so you can see them and I can fulfil them.
- When you subscribe to Field Notes: your email address, held by my newsletter provider so I can send the newsletter.
- When you pay: payment is handled by the payment provider. I receive a confirmation and a reference, not your full card details.
- Browsing: privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics always run and do not identify you individually. If you accept the analytics notice shown on your first visit, the site also uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages actually help, and those services set cookies.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies: one to keep you signed in if you have an account, one used by the form spam-protection, and infrastructure cookies from the hosting and security layer. The site's own analytics are cookieless. If you accept the analytics notice, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies to recognise repeat visits. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser, and clearing the site's data resets it so you can choose again.
The services I rely on
I keep the site lean and use trusted services for specific jobs. Each holds only the data needed for its job, under its own privacy terms:
- Cloudflare (hosting, security, spam protection via Turnstile, and cookieless analytics)
- Google Analytics and Tag Manager (visit statistics, loaded only after you accept the analytics notice)
- Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session insights, loaded only after you accept)
- Kit (the Field Notes newsletter)
- Resend (sending the emails you ask for, like enquiry replies and resource downloads)
- Cal.com (booking a call, where offered)
If a new service joins this list, for example a payment or print provider, this page is updated before it handles your data.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to help you and to meet legal and accounting requirements, then remove it. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and the CCPA, including the right to see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you, and to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Children
This site is not aimed at children under 18, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
I will update this policy when the site or the services it uses change, and I will update the date above when I do.
