This site is run by Abhisek Bagaria. These terms cover what you can expect from me when you use the site, buy a print, or book a workshop, and what I ask of you in return. Like the privacy policy, they are written to be read.

The photographs and words here

Every photograph and piece of writing on this site is my work and stays my copyright. You are welcome to read, link, and share pages. Please do not download, reproduce, or use the photographs elsewhere, commercially or otherwise, without my written permission. If you would like to license an image, write to me.

Buying a print

  • Prints are made to order. Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include the paper and printing; shipping is shown separately before you pay.
  • Payment is taken by Razorpay. I never see or store your card details.
  • Each print is produced on archival fine art paper by my print partner, Gelato, at the facility nearest to you, and shipped tracked.
  • Owning a print is owning that physical print. Copyright and reproduction rights stay with me, so a print cannot be scanned, reproduced, or resold as an image.
  • How shipping, damage, cancellations, and refunds work is set out on the shipping and refunds page, which is part of these terms.
  • If a country applies customs duties on delivery, those are the buyer's responsibility.

Booking a workshop

Workshop bookings are confirmed by email. Dates, pricing, group size, and what is included are stated on each workshop's page, and anything specific to your booking, including the payment schedule and what happens if plans change, is agreed in that correspondence before you pay. Field itineraries depend on weather, park authorities, and the animals themselves, so the order of a plan can shift; the substance of what you booked does not.

Wildlife viewing can never be guaranteed. What I promise is the fieldcraft, the teaching, and an honest effort to put you in the right place at the right time.

The learning resources

The essays, guides, and downloads on this site are free. They reflect my experience and my best current understanding; treat them as a starting point for your own judgment in the field, not a guarantee of results. Where a resource is still being verified, it says so on the page.

What I ask of you

Use the site and its forms honestly. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape its images, or misuse the contact and order forms. Details you enter when ordering, especially the shipping address, need to be accurate; the shipping and refunds page explains why.

Liability, plainly

I run this site with care, but I cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, my responsibility for any claim connected to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you and does not let me take away.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute falls to the courts of India.

Changes

I will update these terms when the site or its services change, and the date above changes when I do. The terms that apply to an order are the ones published when you placed it.
